Roll your cursor over the image to see the difference.

Sometime an image just needs a final tweak just to finish it off. The image above was taken with the Olympus E10 only levels have been slightly adjusted. We can further enhance our image by adjusting the half tones.

Call up the Curves palette (shortcut M) or Image > Adjust > Curves and once the palette is open make sure the Black is on top, you can set this by clicking on the Black/White sliders on the bottom row....shown circled below.

Click on the first line on the right-hand side and set the Input to 75% and the Output to 80%

Now click on the first line on the left-hand side and set the Input 25% and the Output to 25% See below
